Job Summary
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Analyze data related to child care/development needs that are related to geographic areas of need, age of children needing care and the like. Provide recommendations to CFS management staff regarding needed program improvements. Assist in the development of proposals to fund new programs. Provide technical assistance to school districts and private contractors in implementing SCOE sponsored programs. Assist with the development and control of budgets. Assist school districts and other SCOE partners to plan, develop and implement child care/development programs. Gather and analyze data as needed to assist in improving existing CFS programs and in developing new ones. Develop and conduct trainings to delegate staff and CFS staff as needed and assigned. Attend meetings related to child care/development as needed. Supervise staff as assigned. Interpret state, federal and local rules and regulations to CFS staff and delegate staff. Coordinate the development and implementation of a division-wide training plan. Plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate the overall division training services. Design systems/procedures to ensure that training needs are identified and met. Establish a resource library of various training publications and resources. Conduct and analyze the results if surveys pertaining to training activities. Maintain records and prepare a variety of reports to ensure compliance. Assist in the development of and updating procedures and policies and related forms as necessary. Related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a BA in child development, sociology, psychology or a related field. At least four years' experience carrying out planning and program development and data analysis functions. At least one year must have been in a field of education. At least on year must have been in a supervisory capacity.
