They seek a leader who will own the Accounting and Finance functions of the company and help manage the organization’s growth. In addition, they seek someone with Lower Middle Market/ Middle Market company experience to act as the “hands on” financial fiduciary for the organization and work closely with corporate and operations leadership. The position reports directly to the CEO. The client wants someone with a strong business acumen to lead the process of supporting the company’s operations with meaningful data analytics. The company has an interest in exploring acquisition opportunities, so prior acquisition and integration support experience is a plus (but not required).

• Prefer a CPA.
• Prefer Big 4 Assurance followed by industry accounting and finance leadership experience. 
• Experience with inventory accounting is important. Oilfield Services experience is preferred.   
• Must have a strong process/procedures/internal controls aptitude.
• Must be "hands-on" in the details.  

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Manage, direct, and develop the various Finance and Accounting team members.
• Oversee all general accounting, financial accounting, and financial reporting activities.
• Responsible for all Management, Investor, and Board Reporting.
• Oversee the Treasury and Cash Management function, including management of liquidity and cash forecasting.
• Oversee the annual Budget as well as all monthly Financial Analysis and Planning activities. 
• Act as a liaison for the outsourced Tax function (planning and compliance).
• Responsible for all accounting systems, processes, and controls.
• Oversee the annual audit. 
• Work closely with the Executive and Operations leaders to support their efforts to organically grow the organization in an efficient and effective manner. 
• Work closely with Management to analyze, support, and integrate acquisitions. 
• Work closely with the private equity sponsor to execute corporate finance strategies.
• Prior experience with Latin American business operations is a plus.
• Work to develop a business analysis and operations support function beyond traditional financial analytics.
