Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Government/Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead financial oversight, including month-end close, year-end reporting, and government compliance

  • Provide leadership for a small but critical accounting team (AR/AP & Financial Analyst)

  • Manage banking, fund allocation, and reconciliations to ensure financial stability

  • Deliver high-level financial insights and reports to the board and executive leadership

  • Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, payroll reviews, and AP accuracy


What We’re Looking For



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)

  • Government/Fund Accounting - Affordable Housing Experience

  • Detail-Oriented & Hands-On – This role requires deep financial acumen and a willingness to dive into the numbers

  • Collaborative Leadership – Patient, solutions-driven, and able to work across departments
