CFO

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis area to find a CFO to join their team. We are seeking a motivated, solutions-oriented leader who values collaboration, transparency, and impact. In this role, you will combine your accounting expertise and passion for the nonprofit sector to drive meaningful results for clients and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead team operations, including meetings, training, performance management, and one-on-one development
• Oversee workloads, deadlines, and KPIs, ensuring team productivity and removing roadblocks
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development while supporting team engagement and coverage needs
• Ensure strong client communication and step in to resolve issues or provide guidance as needed
• Review financial reports and deliver insights on financial performance and organizational health
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for clients
• Present financials to leadership and maintain strong client relationships
• Manage client onboarding, expectations, and overall service delivery
• Identify process improvements and maintain effective accounting practices
• Serve as a strategic advisor, addressing client needs and financial challenges
