Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Brookswood Animal Clinic
Job Description
We're a busy, fun-loving 5-doctor general practice hospital with a great support team, and we're looking for a Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT) to join our crew.
We see the usual assortment of GP patients, puppies who think the exam room is a playground, cats who have filed formal complaints about being here, dentals, surgeries, chronic disease management, preventative care, and the occasional "my pet ate WHAT?!" emergency.
We work hard, laugh often, help each other out, and believe that veterinary medicine is significantly better when you enjoy the people you work with.
What You'll Be Doing
As a member of our technician team, you'll get to use your skills doing:
We're a GP, so there's plenty of variety. If you enjoy being hands-on, solving problems, learning new things and working as part of a team, you'll fit right in.
Who We're Looking For
You're an RVT/CVT who:
Experience is wonderful. Personality, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important to us.
What's In It For You?
Depending on the position and eligibility, we offer:
Why Us?
We're not looking for a robot who can simply move from room to room checking boxes.
We want a technician.
Someone who notices when a patient isn't quite right. Someone who advocates for their patients. Someone who can anticipate what the doctor needs before being asked. Someone who is willing to help a teammate who is drowning, celebrate a successful surgery, comfort a nervous client and laugh at the ridiculousness of veterinary medicine along the way.
We have 5 doctors and a strong support team, which means you won't be thrown onto an island and expected to figure everything out yourself.
We believe good medicine happens when people have the tools, support and trust to do their jobs well.
Sound Like Your Kind of Place?
If you're an CVT looking for a hospital where your skills are valued, your voice is heard, and your coworkers will probably send you a picture of a ridiculous patient five minutes after you clock out…
We'd love to meet you.
Send us your resume and a little bit about yourself. Tell us what makes you a great technician, what you love about veterinary medicine.
Come join our pack. We're pretty sure you'll fit right in.
