Certified Surgical Technologist

• Specialty: Surgical Technologist – General OR

• Experience:4+ years preferred

• Certification:CST required — exception only if traveler worked as a tech in NY prior to 2015

• First-Time Travelers:Not accepted

• Local Rule: No locals; must live >75 miles from facility

• Call: Required — 6 shifts per 8-week contract, including weekends & holidays

• Weekend: 6 shifts per 8-week contract, including weekends/holidays

• Charting: EPIC preferred

• Scrubs: Provided

• Service Lines: 12 service lines across multiple specialties

Required OR Skills:

• General/Robotic: General OR, laparoscopic cases, colorectal robotic surgery, Da Vinci Xi

• Cardiac/Vascular: AAA repair, carotid angioplasty/endarterectomy, EVAR, fem-pop bypass

• ENT: Direct laryngoscopy, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy

• GI: Gastric bypass/sleeve, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair

• GYN/Breast: Mastectomy, thyroidectomy, D&C, tubal ligation, cervical cerclage, colporrhaphy

• Neuro/Spine: Craniotomy, VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, cervical/lumbar fusion, XLIF

• Ortho: Total hip/knee replacement, fracture reduction, carpal tunnel, bunionectomy & metatarsal procedures

• Urology: Cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, lithotripsy/ESWL, ureteroscopy

• Thoracic: Mediastinoscopy, VATS
