Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technician
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Ability to set up required equipment and sterile supplies for surgical cases
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining aseptic conditions in the operating room
- Set up and break down the operating room and its supplies before and after surgical procedures
- Scrub in and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures
- Pull and prepare cases as needed for the surgical schedule
- Be available for call as needed by unit requirements
