Description
Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (15:00p - 23:00p)
Required Certification: CST (NBSTSA)
Experience: 3+ years preferred
Service Lines: 12 specialties across a broad range of surgical procedures
Required Skills: General OR, bariatric, vascular, ENT, general surgery, GYN, neuro, ortho/spine, plastics, colorectal/robotic, thoracic, and urology
Special Equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
Additional Skills: Aseptic technique, decontamination/sterilization, sharps safety, specimen handling, surgical time-out, and management/lead experience
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Local Candidates: Not accepted; must live more than 75 miles from the facility
Call: Required — 6 shifts per 8-week period, including weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Included in the 6 call shifts per 8-week period
EMR: EPIC preferred
Scrubs: Provided
Certification Exception: CST is required unless the traveler worked as a surgical tech in New York before 2015.
