Location Details

• Location: 75 Patewood Drive Greenville, South Carolina 29615 
• Schedule: Part Time 
• Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM until 3:30PM. No Holidays, No On-Call and Weekends[Part Time; about 2.5 Days Per Week] 

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D – Operating Room Specialist). For incumbents who are not graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or have certification please see additional skills required. Online Surgical Tech program credits will not be accepted.
• Experience: Previous Surgical Technologist experience, preferred. 
• Licensure/Certification: Current Surgical Tech certification, required - based on state specific regulations (South Carolina Region Only) 
• Additional Skills (required): For incumbents who are not graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or have certification the following additional requirements apply: new graduates must obtain certification within 12months of hire. Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. Demonstrate effective and appropriate customer service skills, verbal and nonverbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, and time management skills.
• Additional Skills (preferred): One to two years of experience in sterile processing or equivalent training if assigned solely to sterile processing.

What You'll Do:

• Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, instruments, and supplies while maintaining sterile technique.

• Support patient safety, comfort, positioning, and transportation throughout the surgical experience.

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and equipment according to established standards.

• Monitor surgical supplies, equipment readiness, and infection prevention practices to ensure a safe OR environment.

• Collaborate with surgical teams to support efficient procedures, maintain inventory, and deliver high-quality patient care.
