    Job Summary

    Job Shift: Days

    Job Type: Per Diem
    The Certified Surgical Technician will be responsible for the daily involvement of all musculoskeletal surgical cases and will also follow up post-op related functions and participate in all patient care conferences as they relate to surgical cases. Identify physician needs are met, equipment/supply needs, etc. or to answer calls for materials and supplies as needed. OR supplies/instrumentation needs and schedule review.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides safe and efficient patient Care delivery throughout Surgical Services.
    • Implements and follows plan of care.
    • Maintains a Safe Surgical Environment.
    • Reviews all Musculoskeletal cases logged through scheduling.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Required: HS /GED education,
      Preferred: College Preferred. Graduate of approved ST school or above

    Experience:

    • Previous OR experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Specialty

    Certifications:

    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) through National Center of Competency Testing (NCCT).
    • American Heart Association BLS.
