Submit your application for the opportunity below: Certified Surgical First Assistant Job Summary and Qualifications POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. Functions as First Assistant and scrub person on a wide variety of operative procedures. Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED preferred 3 years experience as First Assistant preferred Current Certified First Assistant license BLS required at hire What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (SA) Surgical Assistant must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Certificate (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant, or (CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (SA-C) Surgical Assistant Certified No Travel Required No experience Required Years of Experience Benefits TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
