Certified Sterile Processing Technician | Sterile Processing | Full-Time | Days

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the unit charge nurse, the Certified Sterile Processing Technician will collect, clean, disinfect, inspects, and sterilize surgical instruments and other medical equipment. Required: High School Diploma/GED AND formal central service technician or surgery technologist program.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the unit charge nurse, the Certified Sterile Processing Technician will collect, clean, disinfect, inspects, and sterilize surgical instruments and other medical equipment. Maintain code carts, chest carts, urology carts. Clean hospital wide equipment as needed.

Days: Monday-Friday

Location: Leesburg, FL

Position requires on-call coverage. Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minute call window.

Qualifications:

Education

Required: High School Diploma/GED AND formal central service technician or surgery technologist program

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: Certification in either central service or surgery technology

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience

Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred: Previous central service, surgery, or patient care work experience is desirable
