Our Certified Police Officer position serves the City to protect life and property of the citizens of McMinnville by enforcing all city statutes / ordinances and state laws / regulations for which the Police Department is accountable.This Certified Officer position is paid based on experience with a minimum starting salary of $45,000 plus holiday pay (14 days) and night shift differential. It is a 12-hour shift with every other weekend off. The department has many promotional opportunities, training opportunities, specialized units and tuition reimbursement.
