Summary Objective
The purpose of this position is to protect life and property and enforcing laws/ordinances, with a focus on community engagement efforts and public education within the Community Activity Resource and Education Unit. Work also includes patrol, responding to emergency calls and alarms, addressing citizen complaints, investigation of criminal activity, intervention in criminal activity, completing special detail assignments, and performing administrative duties as needed/directed.
This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
