As a State-Certified Pest Control Technician, you'll provide professional pest management services to residential and commercial customers while building long-term relationships through dependable service and expert recommendations. You'll manage your route, perform inspections and treatments, identify customer needs, and help protect homes and businesses from pest issues. Most importantly, you'll represent American Pest through professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to doing the job right.Who You Are... Successful technicians at American Pest are dependable, customer-focused professionals who take ownership of their work and understand the importance of showing up prepared every day. You'll also have:An active state pest control certification or license: Core + 7A (or 7D in Maryland)Experience providing residential and commercial pest control servicesA valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving recordStrong communication and customer service skillsSolid attention to detail and commitment to service qualityThe ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight or hard-to-reach spacesThe ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 poundsThe ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditionsComfort using computers, smartphones, and related technologyThe ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishLegal eligibility to work in the U.S.Availability to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.Weekend availability for optional opportunitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentWho We Are...
