Certified Personal Trainer (Part-Time)

At Benefitness Adaptive Gym, we believe fitness should be accessible, personalized, and empowering. We're looking for a nationally certified Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping people achieve their individual health and wellness goals through evidence-based coaching and exceptional client relationships.
Our members range from 12 years old through active older adults and represent a wide variety of fitness levels, medical considerations, and personal goals. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, preparing for surgery, training for an athletic event, improving overall health, or simply wanting to stay active, every program is designed specifically for them.

Position Summary:
The Certified Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality personal training and leading small group fitness classes in a welcoming, supportive environment. Working collaboratively with the Benefitness team, trainers develop individualized exercise programs that promote safe, effective progress while helping clients reach their unique health and fitness goals.
What You'll Do:
- Lead one-on-one personal training sessions.
- Lead small group fitness classes.
- Develop individualized exercise programming.
- Modify exercises based on client abilities and goals.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programming accordingly.
- Provide a safe, professional, and encouraging training environment.
- Build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Assist with member retention and personal training package growth.
- Support community outreach and special events as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
(ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, AFAA, or equivalent). - Current CPR/AED Certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Minimum three years of personal training and/or group fitness experience preferred.
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).
- TB screening (provided by Benevilla).
