Get Paid for Your Time — Not Just Your Training Sessions!

At Alloy Personal Training Bearden, we do things differently. Unlike many gyms that pay trainers only when they're actively coaching clients, we pay you for your scheduled time at the studio, including downtime between sessions.

That means more predictable income, less financial uncertainty, and more time to focus on what matters: delivering exceptional coaching and building meaningful relationships with members.

We're Looking for Great Coaches!
Alloy Personal Training Bearden is hiring part-time and substitute personal trainers who are passionate about helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
We deliver true personal training in a small-group setting, with no more than six clients per session. This is not a traditional group fitness class.
Our members train together, but each individual has unique goals, abilities, limitations, and fitness experience. Our coaches provide personalized instruction, carefully observe movement, and make real-time adjustments to ensure every member receives the attention they deserve.
We primarily serve adults ages 40 and older, including individuals who may be new to strength training or returning to exercise after years away. We're looking for coaches who combine technical knowledge with patience, empathy, encouragement, and exceptional communication skills.

What You'll Do
  • Coach personalized strength and conditioning sessions with a maximum of six members.
  • Adapt exercises, resistance, range of motion, and movement progressions to individual needs.
  • Demonstrate proper technique and provide attentive, hands-on coaching and clear verbal cues.
  • Monitor movement quality, correct form, and prioritize member safety.
  • Build genuine relationships that help members feel supported, confident, and motivated.
  • Track attendance and follow established studio coaching and operational procedures.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and professional training environment.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Accredited personal training or group fitness certification.
  • Minimum two years of personal training or fitness coaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise technique, movement progressions, and appropriate modifications.
  • Ability to coach multiple individuals while maintaining personalized attention.
  • Confidence working with adults of varying fitness levels, including those with physical limitations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to safely demonstrate exercises and modifications.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
  • Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and a team-first attitude.
  • Availability for early-morning, evening, and/or Saturday shifts.

Why You'll Love Working at Alloy
  • Paid time between sessions: Earn pay for your scheduled time working at the studio, even when a session has no clients.
  • No need to build your own client roster: Focus on coaching our established member community.
  • Small-group personal training: Work with no more than six members per session, allowing you to provide meaningful individual attention.
  • Supportive team environment: Collaborate with coaches who care about members and one another.
  • Professional development: Continue growing your skills through ongoing education, training, and support.
  • Meaningful relationships: Help members improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life.
  • Growth opportunities: Potential for additional hours and future advancement.
