    New Beginnings Home Care Inc. - Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Home Health Aide (HHA)

    New Beginnings Home Care Inc., located in Auburn, New York, is urgently seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join their team. As a PCA/HHA, you will be responsible for basic housekeeping, personal hygiene assistance, and offering companionship to clients in the Onondaga, Cayuga and Seneca County areas.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintain standards and policies set by New Beginnings Home Care, Inc.
    • Follow the established care plan by the supervising nurse.
    • Provide personal care and assist with non-medical food preparation.
    • Report significant client changes to the supervising nurse.
    • Create a pleasant environment for all staff and clients.
    • Submit necessary documentation and reports.
    • Assist with medical appointments and relay information to supervisors.
    • Protect client confidentiality.
    • Attend ongoing training sessions.
    • Address concerns with supervisors and colleagues.
    • Respect and enforce Client/Patient Bill of Rights.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Active PCA, HHA, CNA Certification.
    • Minimum 18 years of age.
    • Knowledge of best practices in personal care.
    • Available for irregular shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Experience in medication administration and client assistance.
    • Skilled in mobility and personal hygiene support.
