Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) | Albuquerque, NM | Full-Time | In Person

What You’ll Do

As an integral part of our multidisciplinary clinical team, you’ll support clients across all CRP programs, from pre-recovery engagement through sustained recovery maintenance. Day to day, that includes:

•        Provide peer support services, case management, and referral coordination across CRP programsIdentify client needs and connect them with appropriate resources within CRP and the broader community
•        Deliver recovery education tailored to every stage of the recovery journeyAssess client needs and develop individualized recovery plans and sustainable discharge plans
•        Help clients identify healthy community, family, and social supports to strengthen long-term recoveryProvide community-based crisis intervention, de-escalation, screening, assessments, and referrals
•        Assist with Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group facilitationAdminister naloxone when needed
•        Collaborate closely with clinical teams to promote whole-person, recovery-oriented careComplete all required documentation in the electronic health record within 24 hours of services
•        Participate in all required meetings, supervision, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

•        Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) certification1+ year of CPSW experience preferred
•        Valid New Mexico driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordLived experience in recovery and the ability to share that experience authentically
•        Strong communication skills, empathy, and deep understanding of recovery principlesAbility to support individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges
•        Comfort working in a fast-paced environment across varied schedules, including evenings and weekends as neededAbility to work collaboratively with clinical staff, community partners, and clients alike
