Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do
- Provides peer support using their own lived experience to help others feel understood, hopeful, and less alone.
- Offers practical guidance (e.g., coping strategies, navigating services, building routines) based on what has worked for them personally.
- Supports recovery goals by helping people set and work toward goals like stability, wellness, employment/education, or community connection.
- Builds trusting, nonjudgmental relationships and encourages self-advocacy and independence.
- Works alongside clinicians and community providers (when applicable) to share insights and promote coordinated, person-centered care.
- Helps reduce isolation by connecting people to groups, resources, and community activities.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Required Clearances & Qualifications
- Certified Peer Specialist Training
- Peer Specialist Certification (Required)
- PA Criminal Clearance
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Valid Driver's License
- Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
