Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time
Position: Full-Time (35 Hours per Week)
Location: Shelton, WA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of the School Year
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Shelton, WA. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to students, supporting their functional, academic, and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student success.
- Assist in adapting classroom activities and environments to meet students' needs.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Washington State COTA license.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and therapy staff.
