Associate degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the State of Michigan
Minimum of 1 year of pediatric care experience
At least 1 year of experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
Experience with Allscripts Enterprise, Allscripts Professional, or similar EMR systems preferred
Implement and carry out individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Address client needs related to daily living skills, fine and gross motor development, play skills, and sensory integration
Collaborate closely with clients, families, physicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and interdisciplinary team members
Monitor client progress and communicate changes in status or treatment needs to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company, insurance, and regulatory requirements
Participate in weekly ancillary service meetings and ongoing training sessions
Coordinate treatment goals with other professionals to ensure comprehensive, consistent care
Meet or exceed established productivity standards while maintaining quality care
Use professional judgment to ensure the safety of clients, families, and staff
Maintain current licensure and certifications in accordance with state requirements
Evening and weekend availability required
