GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To assist in providing occupational therapy to students with disabilities while working under the direction and supervision of an occupational therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
- Valid Ohio Department of Education Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
- Valid Ohio driver''s license.
- Knowledge of IDEA rules and regulations, and best practices for the provision of therapy services for children in their least restrictive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, families and staff.
- Access to own motor vehicle during work hours.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and community.
- Demonstrated ability to work/operate as a team member.
- History of good job attendance.
- Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
