Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Home Health with Hiring Bonus

Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a full-time or part-time/per diemCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Home Healthcare Team and see patients in Alameda and/or Contra Costa Counties. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will be work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

**For a limited time, Apollo is offering a $1,500 hiring bonus for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or a $500 hiring bonus for a part-time/per diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).**

What You'll Do

• Provide in-home occupational therapy visits under the supervision of aOccupational Therapist
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
• Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team

What You'll Do

• Provide in-home occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Help patients regain independence with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and safe movement at home
• Assist patients in improving strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and adaptive techniques
• Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising OT and care team

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Active California COTA license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
• Home Healthcare experience
• Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)

Salary Range Disclaimer: The rates listed represent the low and high end of the range for this position. Visit and reimbursement rates vary based on visit type and employment status (1099 or W2). Rates may be adjusted in the future, and employees will be notified of these changes.
