Job Requirements.
- EducationRequirements: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (or equivalent).
- CertificationsRequirements: Valid OTA license (as required for the state of practice) and resume.
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (or equivalent).
- OtherRequirements: Must have a valid license and resume. School setting experience preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and the therapy team. Strong documentation skills and professional communication. Reliable attendance for a 37.5 hours per week, days schedule. Note: there may be an opening as they build pipeline; candidates should be aware that the hiring team is iffy about Cartwright and may not want to go there.

JobResponsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services in a school setting, supporting students functional goals under the direction of an occupational therapist.
- Assist with treatment planning and implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with OT, school staff, and families to support consistent strategies across the educational environment.
- Maintain professional standards of care, confidentiality, and safety during all student interactions.
