Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

·         Work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist with treatment programs

·         Record treatment in medical records

·         Communicates with interdisciplinary team members regarding resident progress, problems, and plans

·         Records daily treatments and labor according to facility procedure

·         Instructs families and staff in maintenance or home exercise programs

·         Coordinate with inter-departmental personnel

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements

·         Degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational Therapy

·         Current NYS licensure

·         COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

·         Previous experience in post-acute/long-term care
