    Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant

    Salary Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

    Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (no weekend rotation)

    Location: 150 bed SNF in a rural location

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at our 150 bed SNF in a rural location. As a P-Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients.

    Responsibilities:

    - Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist

    - Implement treatment plans and document patient progress

    - Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises and activities

    - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve daily living skills

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

    - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and goals

    - Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in the delivery of occupational therapy services

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

    - Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

    - Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

    - Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
