APPLICATION PROCESS

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support student learning by carrying out occupational therapy activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Carry out occupational therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support student learning by providing occupational therapy services
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

POSITION MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, FORMAL TRAINING
