    Description

    What We Offer:

    Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Assisted Living units only: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse.

     

    Shift / Schedule:Three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), including every other weekend. [Days] 

    What We're Looking For:
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • Experience:
      • One year preferred.
      • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • Completion of NAI program, required.
      • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
      • Medication Safety - AME, required.
      • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
    • Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
    What You'll Do:
    • Patient Care: Provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, mobility, transfers, positioning, nutrition, hydration, and toileting.
    • Clinical Support: Obtain and document vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, specimens, and other patient observations. Perform approved clinical skills within scope and competency.
    • Patient Safety: Monitor patient condition, report changes or concerns to the nursing team, and follow infection prevention and safety standards.
    • Admissions & Transitions: Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, transportation, and patient orientation.
    • Teamwork & Environment: Maintain a clean and organized care environment, restock supplies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient-centered care.
