Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to the nursing staff
- Document care provided accurately and timely in residents' medical records
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in residents' rooms and common areas
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Alabama
- Compassionate and caring attitude with a desire to make a difference in the lives of others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred, but not required
