Job Duties: - Demonstrates medical asepsis by following established isolation standards and hand hygiene
- Cleans and stores equipment to prevent spr*** of microorganisms
- Assists RN with patient positioning/repositioning to promote comfort and decrease skin breakdown
- Maintains a clean environment in patient rooms (linen changes, tidy bedside tables)
- Assist patients with personal care needs (baths oral care, and nourishment)
- Obtains documents and reports vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and height/weight at the point of care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performs Hourly Rounding with use of AIDET/5Ps/Words that Work
Requirements: - CNA Certificate
- BLS (AHA)
- LTC Experience
