Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Day & Evening shift 5x8 - Alternate weekend should be available Sat & Sun both.
$27/hr. on W2
Should be able to start in 2 weeks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• You will render all the reasonable services expected including but not limited to the below mentioned. 
• Bathes and/or assists patients with bathing, dressing, and changing. 
• Performs or assists the patient with personal hygiene practices such as shaving, grooming of hair and nails dental 
care, etc. 
• Feeds or assists the patient with meals. 
• Assists the nursing staff in providing basic treatments, changes dressings. 
• Assists in checking or checks and records vital signs such as temperature, pulse and respiration, measures 
weight of ambulatory patients. 
• Washes equipment utilized for patient care, 
• Collects disposable supplies and equipment utilized in patient care; discards according to established health and 
safety procedures. 
• Collects, bags, and sends out soiled linen for washing; receives and stores clean personal clothing Items.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: 
• Knowledge of the problems encountered in the physical care Of persons confined to a nursing home. 
• Knowledge of the health and safety procedures utilized to collect and discard disposable supplies. 
• Ability to perform basic, non-professional nursing care services. 
• Ability to check vital signs. 
• Ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods. 
• Ability to bathe, dress and change patients, and to assist with personal hygiene practices. 
• Ability to properly feed dependent patients. 
• Ability to recognize and report sudden changes in a patient's condition. 
• Ability to discard disposable supplies in accordance with health and safety procedures. 
• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
