Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week (Flexible schedule)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for a young adult patient in Roswell, GA. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated caregiver with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others maintain their independence and quality of life at home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, repositioning, and light physical therapy exercises as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Monitor vital signs and report any health concerns to the family or medical professionals.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical tasks under supervision.
- Offer companionship and engage the patient in meaningful activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to patient care (e.g., laundry, changing linens, tidying patient’s space).
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
- CNA Certification (Required) – Must be certified in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of CNA or in-home care experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (Preferred).
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Roswell, GA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass a background.
