Responsibilities:
Takes and records vital signs and weight
Answers patient call lights promptly
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to create customized care plans for patients
Performs all duties in a professional and timely manner
Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Assisting with patient transportation within the facility
Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
Assisting healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
Regular and prompt attendance
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
Related duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Required
1 year of related experience Required
Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Alabama Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hired Required
Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
