    The Orchards at Niles, a premier healthcare provider in Harper Woods, MI, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA at The Orchards at Niles, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

    About the Role:

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your duties will include:

    • Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts

    • Helping residents with personal hygiene

    • Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

    • Documenting resident food and fluid intake

    • Assisting residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

    • Making residents' beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy

    • Transporting residents within the facility

    • Assisting nurses and other staff as needed

    Requirements:

    • Current and valid CNA certification

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Effective communication skills

    • Good collaboration and teamwork skills

    • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

    • Keen attention to detail

    • In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations

    • Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions

    • Physical strength and stamina

    • First aid and CPR certifications
