Why Us, Why Now?

If you're an experienced CNA who is looking for more than a task list and a call light queue, this is your opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients navigating complex neurological conditions while working alongside a team that truly values your clinical judgment, observations, and contributions.

What's in it for you?

  • Make a real impact. Work closely with neurology patients whose progress often depends on the compassionate, attentive care that CNAs provide every day.
  • Be seen as part of the care team. Your observations matter, your voice is heard, and your partnership helps shape patient outcomes.
  • Spend more time connecting with patients. This role combines hands-on care with opportunities to build trust and support patients through vulnerable moments in their recovery journey.
  • Bring your experience where it counts. We strongly value CNAs with acute care experience who can confidently recognize changes in patient conditions and provide exceptional care.
  • Join a mission-driven organization. At PeaceHealth, we believe healthcare is about caring for the whole person, including our patients, our communities, and each other.

What You'll Do

As a CNA on our Neurology team, you'll help patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their hospital stay while working under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct patient care within the CNA scope of practice.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, meals, and hydration.
  • Help patients safely walk, exercise, reposition, and get in and out of bed.
  • Take and document vital signs.
  • Monitor and record fluid intake and output.
  • Apply dressings and assist with treatments as directed by a nurse or provider.
  • Observe patients closely and promptly report changes in condition.
  • Accurately document patient care activities.
  • Stock patient rooms and clinical supplies to support daily patient care needs.
  • Provide occasional unit support, including answering phones, order entry, and chart-related tasks.
  • Support a positive, compassionate experience for patients and families every day.

Experienced CNAs are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with prior acute care experience and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a hospital environment will be given special consideration.
