Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care

Location: Pocahontas, AR
Facility: Randolph County Nursing Home
Assignment: 4 weeks
Schedule: Variable shifts Nights
Hours: 8-hour, 12-hour, and 16-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Housing: Provided by Prime Time Healthcare
Start: Candidates needed within the next 2 weeks

Position Overview

Randolph County Nursing Home is seeking experienced and reliable Travel CNAs to support its long-term care team. This is a fast-paced opportunity that requires flexibility, dependability, and a willingness to work the schedule and shifts assigned by the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assistance to residents in a long-term care setting.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, and other basic care needs.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures related to resident safety, infection control, hygiene, and patient care.
  • Maintain professional communication and teamwork with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work assigned shifts as scheduled, including weekends and varying shift lengths.

Candidate Requirements

  • Active CNA certification/license and relevant long-term care experience.
  • Proven track record of reliability and successful travel assignments preferred.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable working 8s, 12s, and 16s, based on facility needs.
  • Must be willing to work Friday through Monday and potentially work every weekend.
  • Candidates must be open to the schedule and shift assigned by the facility and should not require a specific or fixed schedule.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when available.
  • Professional, dependable, drama-free attitude is strongly preferred.

Facility Requirements

  • Scrub Color: Navy blue.
  • Must comply with the facility's fingernail, hygiene, grooming, footwear, and dress-code policies.
  • Shoes must be closed-toe, full-back, and have a non-smooth treaded sole.
  • Proper hand hygiene and infection-control practices are required.
  • Fingernails must be short and free of artificial nails.
  • Strong personal hygiene and professional appearance are required at all times.
  • Employees must sign the RCNH Contract Employee Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receiving an offer.

Schedule: Flexibility is key; assignments will be based on facility staffing needs.
