Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Long-Term Care (LTC) team at Towner County Living Center in Cando, North Dakota. The CNA will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while supporting the nursing team and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, behavior, and overall well-being to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs using appropriate safety techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and resident observations.
  • Follow individualized care plans and facility policies while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure quality resident care.
  • Provide compassionate support to residents and their families while promoting a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Current and valid CNA certification.
  • Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work the 2:00 PM 10:00 PM evening shift.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or provide an approved exemption form.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment.
  • Male candidates preferred; female candidates will also be considered.

Assignment Details: 13-week travel assignment with potential opportunities for overtime based on facility needs.
