Description

Agency CNA – $24/hr (Weekly Pay / Every Thursday)

Location:MEDFORD, NY 11763 (Nursing Home facility)
Base Pay:$24 / hour
Overtime Pay:$36 / hour
Available Shift: 7AM-3PM (Day) - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available!

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)

  • In-Person Interview Required: Must be able to come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting.
  • Active NYS CNA License
  • Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.
  • Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long-term care and sub-acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
  • Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.
  • Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
  • Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
