We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Long-Term Care facility located in the rural Western Slope of Colorado. The CNA will provide residents with routine daily care, promote their comfort and safety, and support the nursing team in accordance with established care procedures and facility standards.
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
Take and record vital signs and other basic patient information as directed.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
Maintain resident comfort, hygiene, dignity, and safety.
Observe residents and report changes in physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and organized resident rooms.
Provide support with meals, hydration, and other routine daily needs.
Accurately document care provided according to facility procedures.
Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-care policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by nursing supervisors.
Active CNA certification required.
Previous Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or similar healthcare experience preferred.
Current BLS certification as required by the facility.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of residents in a rural healthcare setting.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with resident mobility and transfers.
