Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, hands-on care to patients/residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient conditions, maintains a safe environment, and supports the overall comfort and well-being of patients.

• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and use of mobility equipment.
• Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Provide comfort, emotional support, and respectful care to patients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Assist nurses with patient-care activities as directed.
