    Job Summary

    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care, assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. This role works closely with licensed nurses to support individualized care plans in a skilled nursing / long-term care setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
    • Follow care plans and document resident status changes
    • Support infection control and safety protocols
    • Monitor and report vital signs and changes in condition
    • Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
    • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment

    Qualifications

    • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
    • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Compassion for geriatric and veteran populations
