Position Summary

Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN, the Certified Nursing Assistant supports patient care by assisting with activities of daily living and helping maintain a clean, comfortable and safe care environment.

Work Information

• Department: CFH ADU
• ️ Shift: Days
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Work Week: Monday-Friday with one scheduled weekday off
• Status: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
• On-Call Requirement: Weekend on-call coverage for Endoscopy transport approximately once per month | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Role Focus: Direct patient care, activities of daily living, patient comfort, safety and transport support

Qualifications

Education

• Post-high school specialized training required

Licensure & Certification

• Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
• BLS required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
