Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is available to work full-time day shifts on weekdays (Monday–Friday). You will work directly with patients in their homes, following individualized care plans and providing quality personal care and companionship.

The ideal candidate has a caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including transfers, mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help patients move safely in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and vehicles
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Monitor and document patient care, condition, progress, and any concerns to report to the supervising nurse or agency
  • Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement in activities
  • Remind patients to take medications as directed according to the care plan
  • Assist patients with prescribed exercises and other activities that promote well-being
Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Home Health Aide program
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must be available to work full-time weekday day shifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
