Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Richmond, Virginia




Personnel Pool of Virginia, Inc. is seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) for a newly awarded contract opportunity in the Richmond, Virginia area. CNAs will provide hands-on assistance and personal care to residents in a long-term care setting.




Pay Rate: Competitive and based on years of experience.




Available Shifts:

• 
  1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  
• 
  2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
  
• 
  3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
  

Responsibilities may include:

• 
  Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  
• 
  Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
  
• 
  Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other required information.
  
• 
  Assist residents with meals and hydration as needed.
  
• 
  Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to nursing staff.
  
• 
  Answer call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and professional manner.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
  
• 
  Follow resident care plans and instructions from licensed nursing staff.
  
• 
  Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and resident-rights requirements.
  
• 
  Treat all residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Virginia Nurse Aide certification/registration in good standing.
  
• 
  Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, veterans care, or similar experience preferred.
  
• 
  Current CPR/BLS certification if required for the assignment.
  
• 
  Ability to successfully complete required background screening, credentialing, and pre-employment requirements.
  
• 
  Ability to perform the physical duties associated with providing direct resident care.
  
• 
  Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
