Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our TEAM! The ideal candidate should have experience working in a specialist practice (Vein Specialist preferred) or out-patient facility and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities 

• Greet all patients with a friendly smile, prepare patients for examination including taking vital signs and documenting EMR chart with patient concerns, and symptoms
• Assist Providers with patient treatments
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
• Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement
• Assist with scheduling of requested testing and labs
• Ensure safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
• Prepare solutions for injections
• Complies with Policies and Procedures, and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (required)
• BLS Certification (desired)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Polite and professional attitude with patients and co-workers
• Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly
• Good time management
• Must be a team player
• Strong attention to detail
