    Position Summary:

     

    We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our PRN pool to support our Medical and Prevention team.This role involves working in a mobile and flexible environment, providing quality care across multiple community-based and clinic locations. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, skilled medical professional who thrives in a team-based setting and is passionate about patient and preventive care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·                        Welcome and prepare patients for exams, collect medical histories, and record vital signs whether onsite or offsite

    • Travel to various clinic and community sites throughout the week as part of a mobile care team
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality preventive healthcare services
    • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient examinations and clinical procedures
    • Perform phlebotomy, collect and label laboratory specimens, and conduct routine lab tests
    • Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers
    • Provide wound care and educate patients on medication usage and preventive practices
    • Conduct health screenings both in-clinic and offsite via Mobile Unit
    • Support administrative functions including appointment scheduling, billing, and patient follow-up

    Qualifications:

    • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
    • CPR certification (required)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • Willingness to work a flexible, changing schedule depending on clinic needs, event or site location
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to function effectively in a mobile and fast-paced setting
