We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Phillip State Prison. This role is ideal for experienced medical assistants who prefer a structured clinical environment, consistent daytime hours, and a team-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical assessments
• Support nurses and providers with treatments, procedures, and medication-related tasks within scope
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Prepare exam areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies
• Follow all infection control, safety, and facility protocols
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support continuity of care between day and night shift teams

Qualifications (Required)

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
