Certified Medical Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
MA must work up until the Physician is completed with all patients. Therefore, they need someone who can stay beyond their end time to finish out the day if/when needed.
Schedules are adjusted as needed in cases of shifts worked over 8 hours.
The Practice Manager releases shift schedules 1 week in advance.
The Medical Assistant (MA) assists the Practice Manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus.
Supports the delivery of high-quality care and shares a passion for patient- and customer-centered care.
Assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets.
Provides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communication.
