Job Summary
Private practice specializing in Adult Internal Medicine seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team, this is a part time position! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts, completing paperwork as needed, and with ancillary procedures. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, dependable, and eager to learn.

Shifts available:
Monday - Friday
9:30am - 4:00pm



Responsibilities 

• Prepare for the patient visit by pulling lab/imaging results, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Room patient to include starting note in EMR and complete testing as ordered
• Clean instruments, equipment, and exam rooms after use
• Assist in monitoring phone/texting system and field questions about medical issues to Physician
• Assist Physician with basic medical care and procedures

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification - Required
• BLS Certification  
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Punctuality and Attendance
• Experience with Medicare AWV paperwork
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR
